Rental Details
This is a seasonal rental. The owners are on the property and have owned it for 39 years. It is a large, private remote property. Any needs or questions can be addressed.
We reserve the right to honor first request in the event more than one party is interested in the same time. We honor favorable return renters. We will indicate on available date list the status. Please inquire to see if there has been a change in status.
Your reservation is not complete until confirmed and payment is received. We will not remove the week from the calendar till that point. Thus time is of the essence. A signed contract and deposit, is what officially holds your reservation.
Payments
$400 to hold date before March. 50% by or after March 15th. The balance and security deposit are due one month prior to occupancy.

Weekly rental plus ( 6% use tax) + security deposit $400, reimbursable 14 days after visit & inspection. Based on max. occupancy of 8 including children age 3 & older. No extra fees.
Sunday Check-out by 10 am, Check-in 3 – 4 pm (Housekeeping may still be working)
Rates :
Early June: $2,450 per week
Late June: $2,600 per week
July & August: $2,800 per week
Labor Day Week: $2,600 per week
September : $2,100 per week
+ $150 Housekeeping & 6% Use Tax Michigan

* Returning Renters: Book 1/2 year in advance, $250 to hold date. 50% by March 15th, balance 30 days before stay. $100 off. Book next year at end of your stay – $200 off.
* Senior Discount: All members of your party 65 + $100 off.
* One Couple Discount: $200 off .
* Multi-Week Discount: 2 wks-$100, 3 wks-$200, 4 wks-$300 (31 days or more NO 6% USE TAX)
*Active Military Discount: 10% discount off your stay with us. It is an honor you choose to spend your leave time with us! ( Valid Military ID must be presented at time of Check-in )
*Referral Program: Refer a renter who books & get $100 off your next stay.
*BOOK DIRECT FROM US AND SAVE!! The Vacation Rental sites add hundreds of dollars in fees to the traveler. (The above discounts only apply to this website.)
Cancellations:
If successful in re-renting, all funds will be returned.
$100 fee for cancellations 60 days or more. 59 – 30 days $400 fee. Less than 30 days there are no refunds, unless the cottage can be rented for that period. *Extenuating Circumstances” may override cancelation policy.

•No land line phone.
Internet
• Summer 2021, there will be a WiFi 6 mesh network. We have had some who still need to stay intouch with their office.
Swimming
•Lake Ann like many Michigan lakes has zebra mussel shells, so aqua shoes are recommended. A shallow area by the boat docks is fine for small children, sand & stones. We swim off the dock. There is a raft to swim to, however the seagulls have claimed it. Close to shore the bottom it is sand and stone, out on the shallow point it is muddy. Bring your own Life vests and beach towels. There is a rustic outdoor shower at the east deck for rinsing off after swimming. Swimmers itch has been common and rinsing off and thorough drying after leaving the lake is necessary to avoid the problem.
Boating
•This cottage is a place for a quiet vacation. The lake has a no high speed boating from 7:30 pm till 11 am. Kayaking, canoeing, rowing & sailing.
